Office Work

Beginning June 1997, environmentally sound office supplies such as stationery and envelopes are procured on a preferential basis. In FY 2002, green procurement of office supplies totaled 100%, accomplishing the milestone.
Each employee is also aware of working in a style that causes a low environmental impact and is thorough in saving power, paperless office, and sorting and collecting trash in offices.

The entire NEC Group has been promoting power saving in offices. In the wake of the power shortage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake and an accident at a nuclear power plant, beginning the end of FY 2011, the NEC Group is stepping up efforts to save electricity in offices.

Reduced paper use is being actively promoted by making electronic presentations, displaying signs next to copy machines and printers urging people to reduce paper use, and so on.

To promote the thorough sorting and collecting of trash in offices, provide a full array of collection boxes and display signs that enable users to instantly know what goes into which box.
