Tokyo/London, March 16, 2009 - NEC Corporation announced today its participation in the IPTV World Forum 2009 being held from the 25th to 27th of March 2009 in London's Olympia Exhibition Centre (NEC booth #28).
NEC has been actively working to achieve the "reality" of IMS-based IPTV through leadership and investment in standardization, interoperability testing and trials. NEC will showcase its best in class IMS-based IPTV solutions, including delivery servers, network bases and home devices. NEC will also highlight IPTV solutions that provide advanced IMS-based IPTV platforms, blended IPTV services and OAM (Operation and Maintenance) for telecommunications carriers and users alike.
NEC's IPTV solutions are not just limited to IPTV technologies, but offer innovation through value-added services beyond the IPTV domain as well.
In addition to exhibits related to NEC's IPTV solutions, the company will also participate in a lecture (*1) featuring how NEC will practically achieve the "reality" of IMS-based IPTV.
