London, England 27 May 2009: On the 2 and 3 of June 2009, NEC Corporation (NEC) will be present at The WiMAX Forum Global Congress, held in Amsterdam. The WiMAX Forum Global Congress hopes to realise the vision of WiMAX as a wireless broadband technology of choice and provide a focal point to the industry to debate the future of mobile broadband and the role of WiMAX.
During the conference Mr K. Jay Miyahara, Corporate Chief Engineer, will be presenting his paper on the Evolution and Technical Analysis of WiMAX and LTE. Presenting at 3.30pm on day two, Mr Miyahara will compare the wireless access technologies; LTE and WiMAX and will discuss the possibility of engineering a common platform for WiMAX 16m and LTE. He will also review strategic deployment and generating potential markets.
Mr Miyahara will also participate in a panel looking at Profitable Strategies for Serving Enterprise Customers: Service Level Agreements and Revenue Opportunities for WiMAX Operators. This panel will take place on day one at 2.45pm and will seek to address issues such as 'How do you build market models for enterprise?' and 'Strategies for keeping consumer and enterprise segments satisfied and separated'.
NEC will be showcasing its new compact all in one WiMAX base station, together with Application and Backhaul at the show. It is exhibiting Radio Access with its compact all-in-one base station. NEC will also be showing its application through NEC's home server and home client solution "Lui" terminal and backhaul with its ultra compact microwave communications system, PASOLINK.
