Paris, France, September 7, 2009 - NEC Corporation announced today that it will be introducing its new network management system, the "MS5000," at the Broadband World Forum (booth #421) held in Paris, France from 7-9 September, 2009.
The MS5000 is a network management system (NMS) which integrates and manages optical, wireless and IP transport products. MS5000 software provides the shortest and most appropriate "A to Z" path-route-design over multi layer networks, as well as seamless end to end path management across L1, L2, optical, SDH and PDH layers. It is also specified to support NEC networks, including wireless products, SDH/MSP products, DWDM products and existing EMS.
MS5000 adopts a scalable system configuration and flexible license scheme, which reduces initial costs for customers, and offers flexibility in expanding networks.
NEC will offer the product throughout markets worldwide.
